Medication Question

Posted by BenDover on January 13, 2010, at 16:35:07

I have been on medication merry go round for over 10 years (combination of self medication and prescribed). The last few years has been a combination of Effexor and Remeron. My compliance has been spotty due to self medicating with booze and weed. Bottom line, I have recommitted to being sober (almost 5 months) and am taking Celexa because I have no insurance plus I cannot handle the Remeron withdrawal. My question is this, what TCA can I/should I take with Celexa to compensate for insomnia? Have been on Celexa (40mg) for over a month and lack of sleep is literally killing me. My PDoc charges $150/hour for me to tell him what I think I should be taking so I thought this forum would be as effective. Seriously, I really need some help with this and appreciate all input.
