I think bupropion was formulated to not give you that buzz immediately. Drugs that stimulate dopamine release like amineptine have always been looked at suspiciously because of the potential for abuse. Bupropion is different, although I have read that people do try to abuse it.

Personally I found bupropion to improve focus and concentration. It wasn't an immediate thing, it took like 9 days to have a noticeable effect.
