Well, this was about 5 years ago, I'm now on different meds - and seeing a different doctor and therapist.
The Stablon worked very well, with no side effects that I can recall, except for one: it affected my sleep patterns in a very weird way, lots of intense/lucid dreams... it wasn't unpleasant, just strange.
Anyway, it was particularly effective for anxiety, it allowed me to lower my benzo intake drastically. I really liked it because it didn't blunt my emotions at all (unlike most of the SSRIs I've tried).
I took the Stablon for about a year, at which point my doc (and I) decided that my depression was in remission and took me off it... I was med-free for another year, only taking a low dose of Klonopin.
As a side note, IME Stablon worked well for the mild/moderate depression and anxiety I was experiencing at that time. When I crashed big time a year later, Stablon didn't do much, so I had to move on to something else.
Hope this helps!
