this is all idle hypothesizing anyway. i feel so tired, listless and nihilistic that i can't even bring myself to arrange a doctor's appointment to begin the trial. no psych within a comet's reach will use stimulants off-label here, so i have to see some GP an hour's drive away to have them prescribed. but even then, i feel like they're only a temporary solution, and if they do work but increase anxiety/depression, this dude won't really be into augmenting (he treats pretty vanilla ADD cases). i mean, how the 'feck do i even broach the Memantine thing with him.
i'm tired of having to lie to doctors just to afford myself the best treatment i can. i'm tired of having to manage this all myself because some dolt doesn't understand how high doses of SSRI's and antipsychotics (the the only OCD treatment i'm afforded) could worsen motivational/cognitive issues. i'm 24. i wish i never knew what a friggen receptor was.
sorry [/vent]
