Amantadine anyone?

Hi, I am considering adding 200-300mg of amantadine to my current regimen. I have read a few studies that have reported positive effects on zyprexa-induced weight gain. But I also know that amantadine is a dopamine agonist and has other effects on its own.
Does anyone have any experience with amantadine? Would appreciate hearing your thoughts. I tend to be a bit impulsive and find it hard to focus and concentrate on tasks as it is, and I know some dopamine agonists can cause disinhibition and excessive gambling, etc. so i'm a bit worried. But the zyprexa-induced hunger/weight gain is kind of getting out of control. I am also on metformin btw.
