In reply to dexedrine + diff between tablet and spanule, posted by linkadge on October 24, 2009, at 8:30:03
Dexedrine (immediate release tablets) have a half-life of about 3 hours. Dexedrine spansules half-life is about 12 hours. I take the spansules. It is SOOO smooth, especially compared to Ritalin (even ER version) and Concerta (Ritalin in an extended release...or something like that. I find when I get a mid-afternoon slump, usually in the office, (and which comes from my Prozac and Seroquel and Lyrica), a 10mg spansule works like a charm. No *high* feeling or jitters/nervous.
I know you tried Ritalin Link, if your doctor is up to it, ask to try the Dex spansules. I find it even smoother then Adderal. Any questions..please ask.Jay
