Johnny,
Why did you come off them? To give you my experience with Seroxat. I took Seroxat in my 20s and they worked wonderfully, I felt better than well.
I stopped taking them at the age of about 31/32 after the withdrawal symptoms went away I was fine (med free) for about 3 years and then all my symptoms came back but even worst than ever.
I started Seroxat again and went through horrendous anxiety and suicidal thoughts so stopped them. Tried lots of other meds over a two year period to no avail. Then tried higher dose Seroxat (40mg) and voila, after about 4 days started to feel much better. Took Seroxat for 2 years and then they seemed to stop working.
That was in 2005, since then tried adding lots of things to Seroxat (to no avail), have tried switching to other drugs to no avail. Have no come off everything (apart from a small amount of Zyprexa) in the hope that I give it 3 to 6 months (becomeing more like 3 months) then I can go on Seroxat and it might work again. I'm not sure what else to do.
Anyway, I'm sure you didn't really want to know any of the above but just bear in mind that you might need to go on a higher dose.
In my 20s I did come off Seroxat once or twice and it did take about 3 weeks for them to kick in again. However since hitting 35 my experience with antidepressants has never been the same.
