No offense meant, but you have to filter out things on the internet if you're going to make an informed decision .. well at least in my opinion anyhow, things with HONCode on them, things from mainstream places.
This doesn't mean I don't approve of "supplements", but again those searches should be done at sites at least somewhat legitimate (actually some have HONcode too), etc.
Anyhow, while there are plenty "horror" stories about any medication and I'm sure there are Black Boxes on some, I don't know about Bisphosphonates... ultimately it comes down to you.
Trials of a medication should be given say a month at least to make any sense of whether it has too many side effects, has any benefit, etc.
Plus I agree with the comment from the previous poster -- most mainstream gynecologists would really warn against "bioidentical hormones"... there are dangers of those, and at best they don't really work.
Bottom line, Jan -- if you want to try a medication and you can afford to pay for it, it's up to you and you alone... yes, asking others for help is fine, but I think we went on this topic before ?.... one has to drop the fear.Decide to take it, and give it a month or so, but please don't sit around in fear of both trying or not trying something. It doesn't help your situation.
I know its hard Jan -- I face these dilemmas a lot. Don't take this as any harsh criticism. Please take it as a nudging comment. Ok ?
-- take care
Jay
