Why is Zyprexa working when the others didn't?

Posted by uncouth on September 9, 2009, at 19:58:58

I just added 5mg of Zyprexa to my cocktail and in just one day I feel a significant improvement in depression and most importantly obsessive, ruminating, torrential thoughts. My question is, what is it about zyprexa that let it work, when Abilify and Geodon didn't (still on 120mg of Geodon in fact).

Also, about the weight gain-- does it come from a slowed metabolism or does it come from increased hunger?

Only downside is a noticeable worsening of my writing skills (grammar and usage) which I haven't felt on any other drug.

At least it feels good to have a settled mind for the first time in ages.

Anyone else have success on zyprexa but not other antipsychotics?
