How long for tricyclic to kick in? (Desipramine)

4 days on 50mg while stopping Wellbutrin, 3 days on 100mg.
I know it is early, but I am searching for some hope. There has been no improvement in mood or motivation. At least it is not making me worse, but shouldn't I feel the effects slowly kicking in? This tx resistant stuff is gettinig soooo old.
