Interesting thread. In my experience, tianeptine has an instant, short lasting mood lifting effect from doses of 25mg and upwards taken at once. I have found no problems in combining tianeptine with an SSRI. Unfortunately, I find tianeptine too expensive to take it daily for the longer term. It isn't prescribed here in Holland; most psychiatrists don't even know it exists.
