Fred:
I'm sorry to hear that, but it's just what happened to me, also.
At first I added caffeine. I started with one tablespoon and took my blood pressure. It went up some but not much. So each day I took more coffee. Within a week I could do as much coffee as I wanted!! That helped the fatigue. Then I started adding half pills of caffeine over the day like No-Doz. That helped, also. Then I started on Provigil (also trying Nuvigil too because I got a free 30 day supply from "Xubex"). That helps me a lot but I don't know how I'll afford it.Anyway, now I take 100mg Provigil and 30mg of Parnate as soon as I get up in the morningin (and of course a big cup of coffee), then I take another 30mg Parnate and 100mg of Provigil at 2pm (sometimes as late as 6pm if I forget). I take 25mg of Nortript at 6 or 7pm. I have no trouble sleeping.
I see my pdoc Monday and he might want me to take more Nortrip, but I don't want to get tired.
I feel like the Provigil and and Parnate work really well together. I think some people just need the extra uumph.I now don't have any side effects except dry mouth.
Hang in there Fred! I know it will work as time goes by, you adjust and you figure out how to tweek it for your individual body!
Good luck!
Gayle
