(Prozac is the weakest SSRI) I've been reading about it and I'm confused as to how it exactly works. I know it isn't an SSRI or SNRI, but does it raise serotonin and norepinphrine as potently as the SSRI's and SNRI's? The efficacy of it seems extremely good in the studies of it versus SSRI's/SNRI's.

> Also how is everyone doing on Remeron? Mood-wise, sleep-wise, just in general? For me it was a mixed experience. I only tried it for 2,5 weeks. It was one of the first AD's i tried. it gave me RLS and 30 mg, but after that made me sleep well. Almost impossible to get up the next day. It's definitely a more powerfull drug than most ssri¨s. It gave me somwhat remession a few hours a day, but it's also sometimes made me very sedated and during the end on of the trial very irritable, agressive and panicky. I wish I'd given a month at least. I quite like the stimulation of appetite it gave me sometimes. I'd recommend giving it a trial of 6 weeks starting at 30 mg. Anything less it too sedaing. Due to it's pro sleeping and anti-anhedonia effects I think it holds more chance of remession than SSRI's. give it 4-6 weeks and you will either love it or hate it.
