Photosensitivity

Posted by maxime on August 14, 2009, at 19:47:55

OMG, I had the worst reaction a week ago whilst spending some time in the sun. My skin became so itchy and prickly and red that it was hurting me so much. I had sunscreen on but it didn't seem to help.

I found out that the thorazine I take can cause photosensitivity. I know the obvious thing to do is to avoid the sun. But I am going to be spending some time on the beach this weekend and I am really scared about what will happen. I have a 60 SPF sunscreen to use and lots of aloe.

It was the worst sensation ever and the only thing that helped to relieve it was cold showers.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?
