I like dosing Parnate twice a day. I take it in the morning and then at 2:00pm. Some people have taken their entire dosage at one time. If I were to do this, I would suffer greater hypotension and begin to experience withdrawal effects in the late evening (REM rebound and anxiety). When I was most sensitive to hypotensive side effects, I took Parnate 4-5 times a day. I would also drink coffee in the late afternoon to avoid the natural dip in BP that occurs at that time of day.
With Nardil, I got into the habit of taking it 3 times a day. I used to experiment with dosing many years ago, but I can't remember why I chose this schedule.
