...in case you hadn't seen that. I would have, should have, actually, included all these remarks in that warning, but I didn't for some reason. I think I got a little overwhelmed or confused - my mistake.
Is there something I can do to help you in following the civility guidelines? Please let me know. I'm unsure how the community can be more responsive and supportive to you. As constructive criticism, I think it's hard to want to respond if people see inappropriate jokes, cursing or name-calling in posts. Did you notice from your first 'herb shop' post to when you sounded really upset no one had answered was less than 24 hours? That's not such a long time for a message board. Catching more flies with honey, and all that?
I hate blocking people, and have a heavy heart each time I feel I have to do so. I don't want to have to do that if there is a next time. I hope there isn't. But it's likely that will be the result, after several PBCs. Please consider using someone for a civility buddy, or some other way to help with following the rules. If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above posts, should of course themselves be civil.
Dr. Bob is always free to override deputy decisions. His email is on the bottom of each page. Please feel free to email him if you believe this decision was made in error.
