I take zyprexa and zoloft. Sedation gets worse the higher the dose. I took prozac with zyprexa at first and it didn't work either. I found that celexa worked as an AD with the zyprexa. I took that for many years, now I take zoloft with it and that seems to work about as well. Zyprexa seems to help with depression just not as well as taking an AD with it. I took the zyprexa alone for a number of years as well. I take 10mg zyprexa now and for the better part of the last 11 years. I know its hard to get out of bed. I take wellbutrin sr for this, it energizes me. It helps a lot during the day to wake me up and geet me motivated, but it is still hard to get up in the morning.

If I were you I would try an AD with 5mg zyprexa first.
