Theoretically, you should be able to start the new drug within a few days of your last dose of moclobemide. Its actions are said to last between 8 and 16 hours.

I tend to be conservative about this sort of thing, though. I would probably wait a week. Even though it is reversible, moclobemide and its active metabolites bind tightly to the MAO enzyme and dissociate rather slowly. Additionally, moclobemide inhibits its own metabolism. The greater the MAO inhibition, the more slowly the drug is cleared.
