I know this is going to sound crazy, but when I was put on Lamictal to try it out, about a year ago, I couldn't walk!!! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I know what a flare of that is like. This was so different. I felt like a puppet on strings and the puppetmaster was drunk or crazy and not doing his job. I was walking a few inches off the ground and couldn't control my arms or legs, plus, my whole body hurt really bad; joints and muscles everything.(I wonder if this is what M.S. is like?) I really wanted that Lamictal to work because some of my friends get huge help from it, so I kept taking it, for over a week, and I couldn't even leave the house. As soon as I stopped the Lamictal I went very quickly back to normal. I searched the internet to see if anyone else had had that happen, but I couldn't find anyone. So your reaction is very interesting to me!!
I know I was on the generic if there is one, because my insurance company wont let me have a name brand without a lot of rig a marole and paying a bunch of money. Now I wonder if maybe I could take the Name Brand? But I think I'd be too scared.
Thanks for sharing that!
