Sounds yummy but full of calories, at least the nuts :)Approaches "Field Roast".
People do say about a vegan diet about protein, but as long as you combine at least two major sources, you will get the amino acids you need. E.g., soybeans/tofu/soy protein/etc and seitan (wheat protein) and/or some type of bean (garbanzo, pinto, kidney, etc.)
And yes, there are endless "alternative" and small study arguments about genistein , etc, in soybeans, but I think by this generation everyone in Asia (pardon if it is a slur) would have keeled over.
I also generally take a multivitamin and calcium to supplement -- it isn't actually completely necessary considering cereals, some wheat products, and soy milk "cartons" are supplemented. As for what I eat when I go out -- well, I don't ask everything. I generally know what might be in things, e.g. spanish rice is sometimes made with chicken, oyster sauce and pork are sometimes in asian food, etc. But I know that "veggie burgers" aren't always vegan. So be.
I suppose this crosses into the Social area, but just wanted to respond.
