I think I can probably make do with the one and a half until it goes generic. I only use one on weekends or when I am able to take a nap during the day, and store the others up for when I need two a day.
It just really annoys me that the company got an extension on the patent, when they made no change to the medication. I understand the need to regain R&D expenses, and I am too impressed with the medication to begrudge that. But isn't the initial period supposed to cover that?
It really is marvelous, Phillipa, and nothing at all like coffee. Coffee makes you jittery and tense as well as awake. With Provigil I just stay awake, and it helps me with those periods of brain sludge although it doesn't entirely stop them.
I'm the person who can't take certain antidepressants because I find them way too activating. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Provigil doesn't feel at all activating, though I suppose it must be on some level.
