Some recent posts are quite similar, and I've been in that position as well. For me, of all the meds that have helped the most, Zyprexa Zydis rules. It just plain stomps on the anger, anxiety and yes, depression. I take 5mg and within 1 hour, I can literally feel the negative, frightening thoughts and physical distress leave my body. It just plain stomps those symptoms, and does it quickly. I know my 2 month visit in the p/ward some 22 years ago would have never happened, if that drug was availabe at the time.
Yes, I'm well aware of all the negative reviews/ratings out there with regards to weight-gain, blood sugars etc. Remember, for every negative review, there could be 100 positive reviews, problem is, those that have found help with Zydis or any other med may not remark on their success?
They could be out living and enjoying their lives with family/friends? The negative usually gets the spotlight,IMO.I'm not ignorant to the potential long-term effect of some meds, but if you need help, and you need it NOW, then please consider Zydis.
If it works, great, just use it until you're feeling better, or if you use it long-term, live a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise.
I don't have shares with the Lilly ;-) and I'm not one to try and force any given drug down someone, I'm just sharing my experience. For rapid and effective relief from Anger/irritability/anxiety/depression, I have found Zydis to be the most reliable.
