Was the p-docs's idea as I don't really respond well to ad's. P-doc went to a seminar where they discussed this combo for treatment resistant people. There seems to be evidence that tr depressives (in some cases) may have a shortage of endogenous opiates.
What is nice about this combo is the way everything blends together. The neurontin takes the sharp edges off the ritalin and makes me more sociable. The ritalin is good for drive.
Back in the old days before the advent of our new and wonderful era of ads the opiates were used for treatment of depression.
Just d/c a trial of parnate. Told the p-doc no more ad's. The p-doc asked if I wanted to try something radically different. I said yes.
