My dad takes Celexa because his insurance won't cover Lexapro anymore. I think it has basically the same side effects as Lexapro--possible sleepiness, insomnia, weight gain or loss, tremors, nausea. You might have to titrate up to a much higher dose to see its effectiveness, though.
