Well this isn't related to seratonin, but I just happened to have a magazine laying around here from 2006, picked it up the other day, and turned to an article about oxytocin. It was one of those "top medical breakthrough" articles. Oxytocin - the "cuddle chemical"; increases trust...."the brain chemical seems to help people lower their guard and overcome their natural wariness about approaching others."
They give this chemical to induce labor at birth. I had this administered when my son was not yet born several days after his due date. But I don't remember how it made me feel. lol
Anyway, there's tons of research on this. Maybe they will develop a SORI?
