Me. I had a wonderful childhood. My adulthood after about age 19, well, at many times, not so much :-( Long story - not always pretty.

I don't currently take any ADs, just Strattera for ADD, but I did for several years, and have suffered from bouts of depression serious enough to include suicidal thoughts. But not until about age 40 or so.

I'm sorry your childhood was so painful. It really does s*ck that all children don't get what they need and deserve.
