> Hi Greywolf! Can you tell me if your PDoc was the prescriber of cytomel? I have hypothyroidism and I need treatment for it, but have no health insurance. So I've been seeing a PDoc pretty much as my sole health care provider.

I've been eating better and exercising, but haven't lost more than 5 lbs of my SSRI weight gain, which happened over the past 3 years when on mainly Zoloft. I'm concerned about long-term effects of hypothyroidism; was tested by an endocronologist at the beginning of the year, but never went back for treatment.

as far as weight, it can help, tho keep in mind it will also stimulate appetite as well as metabolism.
hypothyroid can also cause increased LDL and Lp(a) ('cholesterol')
def. get this treated. probably make things like amp more effective too. i'd think pdoc might have experience with it, its a long-recognized augment for depression, although sometimes docotrs just don't use certain treatments.
