Medications that stop working ,and the liver?

Posted by odon on April 30, 2009, at 13:16:09

Is there any relationship between an antidepressent that stops working or works less and how it is processed in the liver? That is after years of using that medication, something changes in this area.---Since almost all antidepressants etc. are metablolized by the liver, could taking something like Milk Thistle which is a liver cleanser(good for it) be beneficial?Just wondering if there is anything to this or not.
