ya pristiq was kinda a last ssri for me too.
but just so you know i have heard accounts from about 5 people that for them the first week or so was Great, then it really backed off, then about 6-8 weeks it kicked in again.

for me it took a bit longer, but i held out. my pdoc even upped pristiq to 100 at one point hoping it would help, but the stats are right, wasn't much difference between 50 and 100 for me. i supplemented till it finally kicked in.

so i guess i'm saying that if you DO notice it go down, hang in there if you can and ride it out to about 6-8 weeks. it should level by then.

> Thanks a lot for that information. Yicks, scarey to think that your depression was coming back. I have felt much less depressed in just the first week on it. I hope it doesn't poop out after this... It's always scarey for me with meds because I have been on so many and had them work and then fail or not work at all. Pristiq is kind of a last ditch trial in the SSRI/SNRI family.
