lofepramine

Posted by magnox on April 16, 2009, at 7:09:20

Hi, I am going to see a doctor to try lofepramine for my depression, as mirtazepine has stopped working. I also have chronic stomach cramps on mirtazepine, which is a state mirtazepine is recommended to treat due to the 5-ht3 blocking. I was taking 30 mg which did nothing for the depression or ibs. I have been taking it for 2 years at different doses. Is lofepramine slightly sedating? This would be good as I still need help with sleep due to tinnitus. I plan to push the dose to 210mg taking 70mg in the morning and 140mg at night. I hope its not activating. Relief of anxiety and depression should offset the activation allowing better sleep imo.
