Well, it's fast acting, and attaches itself to GABA-a receptor highly, that's why it's known to for it's "high-peaceful" feeling, but only lasts 3 hours, for me.
Thinking about it, alprazolam attaches itself high to GABA, and maybe, for some unknown medical reason, this why it's causing these effects. Halcion is good example, it "sedates very well" but when it wear's off, i've read articles, posts here "halucionations", psychotic reaction when it wear's off, it lasts 1 hour or 2, and it's potent, so withdrawl happens right after it off, GABA imbalance.
Sometimes, benzo's, even there known #1 for anxiety demenishing, some people don't react good to some of them.
Dexamphetamine, which is, a amphetamine, i've taken 2 spansules, and i go right back to sleep, only i wake irrtible, because i slept the whole duration of it. So, that's definelty an adverse effect. But, it depends, that's happened about 3-4 times. And other times, it does what it's suppost to do, help with concentration, motivation.
Diazepam is the only thing i can think of, that is good, and well-known for anxiety. Lorazepam also...
I can't think, but maybe there is other types of medications, that would work wonders, even if not for anxiety.
I'll try to think, i've researched for what 4 years? i forgot alot, because i lost intrest.
Take care
