Two Wellbutrin XL 150 ok?

I started off for the second time on Wellbutrin about 3 weeks ago. My doctor gave me Wellbutrin XL 150. She said when I feel ready to just start taking two of those daily at any time. I've never read about people doing this, but it seems like a good idea. Why have two SR's that may taper off before the other starts going in, when you can have two XL's that are sure to overlap?
