As far as I know also Zyban is Wellbutrin SR. It was also patented, but for smoking cessation. When neither was generic, it was prescribed offlabel sometimes by psychiatrists for patients who couldn't afford or get Wellbutrin SR. As for XL I don't know. Both I believe are now generic.
