Trazadone has some alpha1 blocking capability, as does quetiapine; i think thats part of why they are hypnotics. Risperdone does, too. I think clonidine woudl work even better, as it also is an alpha2 agonist, the NA autoreceptor. i suppose prazosin could be used in this way as well.
