Went to dr. She wants to wean me off Ambien because it is no longer working. She also switch me to Pristiq which I am apprehensive about but I am willing to give it a chance although honestly, I just dont think it is going to work. I have tried everything and some work temporarily but nothing makes me feel like I used to be. I don't even like to go out anymore.
I had tried Cymbalta and hated the brain zaps. From what I have read Pristiq is not much different from Efexor which I had never tried for fear of withdrawal side effects (brain zaps included). But as we all know by now this is just a guessing game and who knows Pristiq may be the answer though I can't help but being cynical.
