In reply to Seconal (Secobarbital) Re-introuduced to the Marke, posted by dade on March 1, 2009, at 1:09:19
Yup, and it's going to be the "last".
Secobarbital killed so many people, on accidents.
Pentobarbital is not used commercially, Nembutal. Marylin Monroe 1962...took XXX caps.
It's effective.... due! but re-dosing, habit, benzodiapines don't cause respitory failure, they just sedate the limbic system. Mostly all barbiturates work on anxiety, siezures, and slowing the "peripherial" (blood pressure), and other stuff, such as Respitory system (breathing) when abused, it's shut down.
The only thing, that was "wierd" Dexamyl (dextroamphetamine 15mg + amobarbital 90mg) (not exact on the dose)
"Mood uplift, and great for vertablly inhibited" - 60's ad.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DexamylDon't know why, but it made introverted people, supposedly "talk, have conversation"
Southern Comfort is more preferred, of all time.Anyways...
Seroquel....today is used for sleep so much, but i'm telling, it's a dissocative drug, above 50mg. It's a nueroleptic, but it works also, you feel dissociated, no good feeling at all... but i think, it may be just a bit habit forming, because it "tunes" out thoughts, at night, but does not give relaxing sedation. But, if it works....
and in my case, i didnt like taking it at all. But just had to at times, to at least, be "stoned" psyche sleep. I mean....why dont they just give Thorazine, because it's old, and it's lost it's patent. (I'm making a joke comparing it to Thorazine)The histimine h1 channel is blocked along with dopamine and serotonin to an extent.
-Thought i'd throw that in there for info.
But, it's not a med doctor's are going to use,
1) It was patented in 1930
2)Overdose
3)Habit forming "extreme"/ abuse from the past.take care
