Hi Garnet,

Well I have anxiety problems too but have heard in some cases MAOI's can be beneficial (see amongst others 'RemedyFind' or www.askapatient.com). Some people there claim it has a profound anti-anxiety effect. However, there's also others who say MAOI are stimulating and could make you nervous/anxious... Maybe it depends on the dose and time of titrating upwards?

Last week I embarked on Eldepryl (Selegine), but I'm only taking a minute amount to avoid side effects. My current dose is 1.25 mg/2 days. Side effects like dry mouth are already present, so I won't move up until they subside. Anxiety hasn't reared it's ugly head (yet).

Hope this info is of use to you.

My best,
Maria
