Hey,
I'm new to the board but have been lurking for years. I'm in need of a sleep med/augment to add to nardil to fight insomnia. I'd prefer to add one that will provide some extra ad kick as nardil may be waning on ad response. I'd like to hear what worked for people on or while on a maio in the past with atypical dep/anxiety but anyone is welcome to respond. I prefer not to take sedative hypnotics (ie zopiclone) or benzos (both dampen my mood) but am willing to hear suggestions. I'm thinking about a sedating tca with good ad response for atypicals (ie trimipramine or maprotiline) but I lack the background as to what is out there. I'd prefer one that doesnt increase anxiety for us anxiety sufferers. Can anyone give me some good ideas to run by my gp?...preferably ones that are not contraindicated. Although if any literature exists to demonstrate safety with the combined use he may go for it but not sure.thnx
