Stopping Prozac as pdoc thinks it's contributing to my lack of appetite, and the AD effects have not been good enough.
This time I'm going back to an SSRI that I haven't been on since 1997 (I think?). It worked at the time, never pooped out, I just tapered off of it too soon if I remember correctly. It was so long ago, feels like someone else's life.
Paxil, and we'll take it slow and steady with the dosage since I'm real good at feeling side effects, kind of like the Princess and the Pea.
Staying with Seroquel 50mg to sleep, since it's working, and Xanax 1.5mg for anxiety, since that's actually a little bit better (and should be much better once I stop the Prozac altogether).
Pdoc was actually very sympathetic and compassionate about how rough it's been for me. Not often I get to see that side of a psychiatrist. He said the hair falling out (oops, sorry I forgot to mention that too is happening) is likely from stress rather than from malnutrition. I've only (only?) lost 15 lbs since the beginning of December.
