I wonder if it's worth your doctor calling this pharmacist and having a little conversation with him. About how patients who use benzos are people too. And how scrips that patients present that are signed by him and that patient has no record of abusing these substances should not be given the third degree or made to wait while offices are called and "facts" are checked.
Just wondering if the doctor is in a position to be your advocate at all.
And I understand perfectly your venting. I've changed pharmacies based on how I've been treated by god-like dispensaries before - like those who tell me that I "must have" brought the scrip to some other branch, simply because they've misplaced it in their chaotic surroundings. I let that happen 4 times before I walked away.
Remember - we are the CUSTOMERS. They are the SERVICE PROVIDERS. I think they get these roles mixed up many times, and it's starting to happen to us, too.
