TCA's no idea some for bedwetting I do know that? Any studies to quote from or post as a book isn't reliable in my opinion. As many books are written not all are true. Just my take. PhillipaPhillipa,
MAOI's came into favor as A/D's when Doctor's noticed some of their depressed TB patients were no longer depressed.
Weren't you a psych nurse? I'm surprized you weren't educated as to the history of the very medications you were dispensing. Odd. As for studies, some are junk and some have valid and carefully structured guidlines, that are peer reviewed and published in respected journals, etc.

Do you have a concern that people on the medication board believe that all books that are written are true?
Finally, what, exactly, is your point? And who are you directing it to? What change would you like to see that you haven't already posted on numerous occasions? I'm confused.
