On the wiki page for Atorvastatin adverse reactions it mentions "Myopathy and rhabdomyolysis occur in <0.1% of patients (less than 1 out of every 1,000 patients). Risk is increased in patients with renal impairment, serious concurrent illness; and/or concomitant use of drugs which inhibit CYP3A4.[4]"

My GP prescribed the atorvastatin whilst my pdoc prescribed the prozac... i didn't think my pdoc would care about my chelestorol so i never thought to mention the atorvastatin. Iam only on 10mg of the atorvastatin though which seems to be a small dosage.I would mention it next time, there are other statins and other SRIs you can take which don't interact as well. i don' think fluoxetine&norfluoxetine are strong inhibitors so i wouldn't be too worried unless you start noticing side effects from it.
Its a good idea to mention any drugs you're on, although doc should remember to ask as well.
