Parnate + Remeron?

Anybody? IS this safe? I know Remeron plus Effexor is used in seriously treatment resistant patients, and Remeron is officially contraindicated by the PI sheet for MAOIs, but I'm curious if this combo is ever used in practice? Assuming a low (15-30mg) dose of Remeron.

I'm hoping it would help sleep and knock the depression on it's head for good.

Any thoughts?
