I emailed my former pdoc holiday greetings

He wrote me back, and apparently still remembers me. (((((former pdoc))))))

he helped hold my brain together for many many months while finishing the diss.

I invited him to a party and made a borderline tasteless holiday joke. He took it pretty well, i guess.
