i'd think its less likely since parnate doesn't affect gaba levels. Memory formation requires NMDA activation. The combination of a gabaergic like nardil and lamotrigine (which noone is quite sure how it works, but does seem to reduce glutamate relase) is going to make memory formation that much harder, its doubling up on things.
