> MikeHi Mike, I have seen up close (in hospital for family member) this paradoxical reaction. During an aggresive, "I am superman" kind of Manic state, the ER at hosp was trying to calm him down, gave him large dose of benzo, may have been Klonopin, and it had the opposite effect they were looking for. It "empowered" him even more. As he was obviously manic, I believe they made a mistake, and hope the staff has since become aware of the risks.
Not implying at all you have/had mania, just saying be careful as this may mean you will not respond to some meds, etc. as expected. Did you feel good on the Klonopin? I take it and its like a placebo. Was great for nerve pain but thats it. I'm titrating off of it. Everyone's different it seems.
