I also was also thing of provigil. But I've heard it's not very strong. I wonder if I would get Nardil + Ritalin + lyrica?

Hmmm...by experience, Lyrica make you more apathetic and also more tired. Il will not help for the energy or anything else. Anticonvulsive drugs like Gabapentin, Lyrica and Topomax acts on the gaba receptors and it's suppose to help by reducing the activity in your brain, so a reduction of the anxiety...The only effects I get on them was a terrible cognitive impairment, more worst than the one you can get by taking too much anxiolytics pills (Clonazepam, Xanax...) and withdrawl them...

Some doctors will tell you to not blend anything with NArdil or Parnate, except "Desyrel" (trazodone)...to help for the insomnia. If you add a stimulant, it can be fatal. But again, we are all different. The best approach is probably to begin to try with Ritalin, since it have a short action and half-life, so it will not stay in your blood for a long time. If you hve a bad reaction you will be ok after 2 hours. If you begin with Adderal or something with a more long half-life like Dexedrine...if you have a bad reaction on them, be prepare to having a bad time for a long time...

I mention it already on others threads, but I also have a very low energy level, if not a 0 level. Mean that I do insomnia at night, I can fall asleep fast but after 2 hours I need to get up, I feel like an urge envy to get up, I can't stay in my bed. I'm like this since more than 4 years...So that's normal to feel very tired during the day. I was feeling guilty for a long time because I was taking nap in the morning or in the afternoon and to try to have more sleep time.

I just realise recently that I don't have to feel guilty because I take a long nap in the afternoon. It's better doing this than trying to have 2 or 3 days in a row without "naps"...and ending after more tired and more depressive or anxious because I lack of sleep times.

Yeah, I want to have more energy also but all the antidepressants, anticonvulsives or antipsychotics drugs make me feel very tired.

For now, I just drink a lot of coffee to stay awake...I try also to not drink coffee after 4 pm, to prevent insomnia but that's change nothing in my case. Just with the coffee i'm ok, I found it more strong than Ritalin, in fact, one study show that caffeine can help with anxiety and social phobia problems...

Here a couple of good studies about Nardil...

http://www.socialfear.com/nardil_links.html

Provigil was use a lot on soldiers in the golf war (I may be wrong)...they had to take a pill every 8 hours to stay more alert and awake. I try it but I don't get a good response on it. It was a weak experience, not very good for my anxiety, not at all in fact... and when it's stop working, you feel more drained than before....Ritalin is ok but don't dream about a BIG energy wave in your body...that's a very short effect, and again I find coffee to be more strong...Adderall make you feel more depress, in my case...too much overstress for nothing... It's suppose to help also with the "food" craving, but I never found it very helpfull on that respect... The only good drug for the energy and the reducing appetit was the "Ponderall" drug, retrieve from the market back in 1997 because of heart failure. I was on it at the time...

Another time, it's just my experiences and my opinion...Don't forget that everyone in the world that doesn't have a mental helth problem get some up and down. Everyone also don't feel very energic all the time.

I think that a lot of people with depression, anxiety or social phobia problems seem to think that being happy and feeling good in the life is the main goal to reach. But if you look more closer, you can ask to yourself a question "What's mean being well or feeling well???" .

If I can recall, I was always like this. In my childhood, I was like what I am now, already with anxiety, probably with a social phobia problem and with a depressive personnality. I think that being normal is just an expression since I never feel that way in my entire life. I know that a "pill" will not make me feel more happy or more energic all the times, the pill can just help me to have a normal life (whatever the definition you give to the "normal" term).

That's normal to have some bad days in a week. You have to accept that some day you can be ok, and others not... The main goal to acheive it's to have a "normal" life, mean that you can work, have a social life and being more happy, that's it. It's impossible to feel always good, 365 days by year.

Before, I was always frustrated because everything (pills) I try in my life never work and I was always feeling "bad" or worse after them...but I now accept the fact that It will take more time to recover and to find the good balance of energy and well being...

I don't know if you understand what I mean, since i'm not very good in english...but I do my best...I hope it can give you some encouragement...

Take care of yourself and have a good day ;)
