Well Phillipa as I understand it and I have hypothyroid right now and am being treated so I am not an expert just have a layman's understanding, your numbers as you stated are just in the normal range. The new range for TSH is .5 - 1.5 which yours being .552 is within that range. Free T4 should be in the range of .8 - 1.8 so yours is again right there and your T-3 is 90 which is the low range of normal with the range being 80-220. You could ask for a antibodies test since you still feel tired and anxious. Now extreme anxiety is also a sign of hyperthyroidism. So do you think your thyroid is too active or too sluggish is the question? And if it is hyper you lose weight not gain.
My doc told me when my levels got too low in the normal range or too low for my body, that I would feel bad again. And then it would be time to get off the meds. So maybe your meds are needing to be adjusted or off. And your thyroid would adjust and you would feel better and less anxious. Are you eating well for thyroid issues. Because diet can improve it. I know you are exercises. You really may not need it if the meds took the anxiety away and you feel better and now suddenly you feel worse.
Maybe insist they do the antibodies test to check further.
