> moggerI'm not sure about AEDs, but low dose Seroquel, e.g. may help bad OCD. Have you exhausted the doselimit of your SSRI (or sometimes gone a bit beyond it) -- I assume you've been through the panoply of them?
But I mean it depends on the situation -- its not always a drug augmentation for OCD, as it is not a curable condition (I have it), its something you have for life basically, but if you do things like CBT or other similar therapies, you may learn the tools you need for another flareup.Unfortunately short of a caudatomy (which is almost never performed in the US and could cause brain damage) there isn't a way to silence things, but there are ways of knowing how to calm the anxiety to a point with some cases that you don't need much medication help.
