In reply to withdrawal from lyrica, posted by Melissa23 on October 28, 2008, at 10:04:39
The withdrawal effects lasted for about 2 weeks, but the first week was the worst. I think it was the worst withdrawal I have ever gone through and I have started and stopped MANY psych drugs in the past. I'm back on Lyrica now, so I know what to expect after I taper off of it. Not fun. I got a little bit of relief from taking Benadryl.
I hope you feel better soon.

> My question...has anyone done this, and how LONG did it take? I need to get my life back. I don't want to be drug-dependent, but I need to re-join work, family and life. Also, any suggestions for treatment? I"m basically using alka-seltzer, tylenol, pepto bismol, occasional fiorcet (for persistent headache) and diet coke (can't deal with coffee right now).
